Each year VASBO offers three conferences (fall, winter, and spring)
during which informative workshop presenters discuss topics pertinent to
the support functions of our school divisions. The spring conference
includes an expanded agenda with vendor exhibits and recreational
activities.
certificate program VASBO recognizes the attainment and demonstration of professional
competencies throught its registration program of School Business
Administrators (VRSBA) and Officials (VRSBO).
networking VASBO promotes an informal communication structure that provides links
to colleagues who can provide solutions to current problems and
concerns.
continuing education VASBO offers continuing education credits through Virginia Tech.
legislative updates VASBO takes an active role in formulating and communicating a
legislative program that is sensitive to the concerns of local school
business officials.
